As The Publius Project begins to take shape, we have a number of roles that need to be filled. Those roles will be detailed in this thread as needed, and if you're interested in taking that role on, please reach out to us at apubliusproject@gmail.com and let us know about it!

Editors
 

We need editors for audio, visual, and written texts.

Editors should be able to use advanced software such as Audacity, OBS Studio, Shotcut, Photoshop and the Adobe suite, or other pertinent software.

Editors should be able to process work products into texts that maintain the intention of the creator while also being digestible to an audience in a way that is pleasing and entertaining.

If you have the skills and focus to offer in this role to help support our project, we would be grateful to hear from you!

Director
 

If you're capable of overseeing all of the many facets of a work product from beginning to publication, including written, audio and video productions, we would love to hear from you!

The director of a product is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the product's creation, and is responsible for quality control and ultimate publication. The director will approve all content creation, edits, and final production.

This is a large role, and one that requires attention to details, while still adhering to reasonable publication goals and timelines.

Social Media Specialist
 

This person will be responsible for pushing out and remaining active on our many social media networks.

Posting and replying to those platforms on a regular basis, and especially when a new work product is released, is critical.

Strong social media background in a professional capacity is helpful, and exemplary written and communication skills are a requisite.

Web Administrator
 

We have a website. It doesn't look very good. We need someone who understands and can enhance our website presence using very limited resources, to create an environment that others find attractive and engaging.

If you believe you have talent to lend us, please reach out to us so we can share ideas for this task.

Content Producers
 

Whether oral, written, or visual, people create our content. That's what the project is all about, after all!

Our project focuses on responsible discussions of issues important to our society in a way that most members of it can understand and relate to. We do so constructively and with thoughtful regard to our topics and constructive dialogue to the very best of our ability.

We do not engage in "marketing controversy" or "shock jock" publication, but rather we believe that credible, interesting, reasonable topics can and are engaging to a large portion of our population, and that this population is currently being underserved.

If you'd like to collaborate with us as someone to create one project or hundreds of them, we'd like to hear from you to discuss that interest.

The more people that participate in this project, the more successful we will all be.

Guests
 

If you know or are someone with specialized knowledge or experience, we might be interested to have you as a guest.

We're interested in speaking to all sorts of people about various topics, including but not limited to:

• Elected officials or candidates for office
• Educators that have a topic they want to share
• Religious leaders
• Knowledgeable religious adherents
• Political commentators
• Passionate partisans (from any political party or ideology)
• Conspiracy theorists

And more!

We're interested in speaking to anyone that most of us don't get to speak to in a meaningful way on a topic that we're curious about.
